S. Beth Bellman is a Lecturer in the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa in the Department of Management & Entrepreneurship. She earned her Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies: Decision Neuroscience from the University of Iowa. She has been teaching negotiation, primarily to undergraduate students, for the past seven years in person and online in both synchronous and asynchronous formats. She believes that teaching students about negotiations can improve both their business and personal relationships as they learn to become better communicators and to take an interest based approach to creating value.
