Dr. Mara Lief Crabtree is an Associate Professor at the Regent University School of Divinity, teaching master’s and doctoral level courses in Christian spiritual formation and practical ministry. She received the Doctor of Ministry in Christian Spirituality from Wesley Theological Seminary, a Diploma in the Art of Spiritual Direction from San Francisco Theological Seminary, a Master of Pastoral Studies in Ecclesial Ministry from Loyola University of New Orleans, and a Master’s in Practical Theology from Regent University School of Divinity. Mara completed her Doctoral Immersion Studies while at Wesley, traveling to Poland for the purpose of studying the Holocaust at Auschwitz, Birkenau, Treblinka, the former Warsaw Ghetto, and other Holocaust locations.

The Rev. Dr. Crabtree is ordained by the Communion of Evangelical Episcopal Churches, Diocese of St. Patrick, and has served as an associate pastor. As a member of the International Order of St. Luke the Physician, an ecumenical order for the purpose of teaching the Christian ministry of healing, as understood through Biblical study, she has formerly served as a chaplain and as representative for OSL Region 2, United States.
