Matthew L. Duffin received a J.D. from Brigham Young University and an LL.M. from the Army Judge Advocate General’s School. His 36-year career crossed academic and professional practice. He has published numerous articles and book chapters dealing with criminal justice issues and the law. He was a former prosecutor, defense attorney, and judge with over 19 years of teaching experience in criminal justice and law. He is currently an associate professor in the criminal justice department at Utah Valley University.
