Jackie Eller is an emerita professor of sociology with Middle Tennessee State University. Her areas of interest continue to include social deviance, gender studies, and the sociology of emotions. During her career at MTSU she served as Dean of the Graduate College, Interim Vice Provost for Research, Chair of the Sociology/Anthropology Department at MTSU, President of the Mid-South Sociological Association, Director of Women’s Studies at MTSU, and Director of the MA in Sociology. Currently she is continuing her interest in women's rage so is “raging” in her retirement in Florida.
