Dr. Jenna Canillas is Associate Professor of Education and Chair of the Master of Arts in P-12 Multilingual, Multicultural Education program in the School of Education at Biola University where she teaches methods for culturally relevant pedagogy and elementary math and science instruction in the Teacher Credentialing program. Prior to coming to Biola, Jenna spent 20 years in K-12 public education, teaching multilingual learners in grades 1-6 in two states, serving as new teacher mentor, and as Program Specialist for English Language Learner programs and Gifted and Talented Education at the district level. Jenna (WW0MAN) holds a bilingual credential authorization in Spanish and an Extra class amateur radio license, the highest level issued by the FCC, and is active in international communication and in her local amateur radio community in Southern California.
