C. Matthew Lee, PhD, is Professor and Chair of the Department of Kinesiology at San Francisco University. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in exercise physiology and codirects the Exercise Physiology Laboratory. His research interests include automatic control of the cardiovascular system, cardiovascular responses to exercise, and clinical exercise physiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine and an ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist.
