Dr. Lisa Kahle-Piasecki has a robust academic background and extensive practical experience in the field of leadership. Holding a PhD from the University of Toledo, she has dedicated her academic career to understanding and teaching effective leadership principles to increase employee job satisfaction and ultimately improve individual and organizational performance. In addition to her PhD, her academic journey includes a Master’s Degree in Education from Bowling Green State University, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from The University of Findlay, and a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Toledo. Before her career in higher education, she worked as a Director of Communications. Her contributions to this textbook are grounded in both rigorous research and practical application, making complex concepts accessible and actionable for readers. When not working as an Associate Professor, she enjoys travel, concerts, fitness, and reading. She lives in Perrysburg, Ohio with her husband, son, and two furry family members.
