Dr. Luciano Cid is Associate Professor of Education and serves as the Director of the Multiple Subject Credential Program at Biola University. He teaches Introduction to Teaching, Educational Psychology, and the Elementary Student Teaching Seminar. For the past three years he has held leadership positions for the Brain, Neuroscience, and Education special interest group at the American Educational Research Association - including being its chair. Bilingual in Spanish and English, he assisted in building the Bilingual Authorization in Spanish and recently received a $500,000 grant for securing more elementary bilingual teachers for the public schools of California. Dr. Cid has taught at every level of the educational system, which has driven his passion of investigating ways in which his Christian faith may bring added value to educational milieus.  He lives with his wife and three young children in Orange County, California, and enjoys writing, editing, volunteering in youth sports, and serving in his church.
