Marc Muchnick, Ph.D. is an executive coach to leaders of name brand companies across the globe. His company People First Group, which he founded in the early 1990s, is the go-to provider for world-class leadership development programs, high performing teams initiatives, engaging motivational keynotes, and solution-focused organizational consulting that yields tangible business results. For 25 years Dr. Muchnick has also been a professor in the Ph.D., DBA, and MBA programs at Capella University’s Online School of Business, Technology, and Health Care where he has been the recipient of the President’s Award for Teaching Excellence and Doctoral Mentoring Excellence Award, served on the President’s Advisory Board, and supervised over 100 doctoral research dissertations as Committee Chair.

Marc is a lifelong protégé of Ken Blanchard with whom he coauthored The Leadership Pill, a Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, and Amazon bestseller. His other bestselling books include Naked Management: Bare Essentials for Managing the X-Generation at Work and No More Regrets! 30 Ways to Greater Happiness and Meaning in Your Life. Dr. Muchnick also developed the ENGAGE leadership model, the Engaging Leadership Questionnaire (ELQ), and the High-Performing Teams Questionnaire (HTQ), all of which are widely used throughout Corporate America. Marc earned his Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego. His B.A. in Business Psychology is from the Plan II Honor’s Program at The University of Texas at Austin. Marc and his wife have two grown children and live in San Diego with their dog Stella.
