David Shetzen is an instructor at Arizona State University in the Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions, School of Social Work where he teaches both undergraduate and graduate-level stress management courses emphasizing the development of mindfulness as a skill to manage stress and quality of life.
David holds a B.S. in Human Communication from ASU as well as a Masters degree in Higher and Post-Secondary Education, and a graduate certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership. His knowledge and training in trauma treatment bring mindfulness, body centered practices, and skills that transform trauma to homeostasis. As a practitioner for over 15 years, he has worked in higher education with the goal of introducing and teaching quality of life through the practice of a mindfulness.
