Bill Strom serves as professor of communication at Trinity Western University in Langley, British Columnbia, Canada. He earned his B.A. in speech communication at Wheaton College in Illinois, an M.A. in communication theory at Northern Illinois University, and a Ph.D. in communication research at the University of Iowa. He lives in Abbotsford, B.C. with his wife Shelaine.
