Xiaoli Li has ten plus years of experience in media industry, including newspaper, magazine and TV station as a reporter and producer. She has eight years of experience in research and teaching in Communication University of China focus on culture research. She had a Ph.D. degree in media culture. She started aging research since 2015 and graduated from Applied Gerontology Ph.D. program of University of North Texas in 2023. Currently, she is assistant professor in Healthcare Management program at Southern Illinois University. The courses she taught are Managerial Epidemiology and Population Health, Statistics and Research for Health Care Professions, Long Term Care Administration, Operations Management and Quality Improvement in Health Care. Her research interest is applied gerontology, focus on long term care model and culture change movement in U.S. Her new book released on 2023 January: Long Term Care Models and Culture Change Movement in U.S., which is bilingual, co-author with Dr. Stan Ingman, Dr. Kendall Brune, and other experts in the field.
