Advancing AI in Theological Education: A Transformative Opportunity explores the emerging relationship between artificial intelligence and theological scholarship. Written for professors, postgraduate students (MA, MDiv, DMin, PhD), and others seeking to understand and imagine how AI and theology intersect, this book encourages careful and informed engagement. Beginning with foundational questions about the nature and purpose of theological education, the chapters trace the historical role of technology in Christian practice, examine ethical concerns, and discuss spiritual formation in the digital age. Practical guidance is offered for integrating generative AI into theological research, while also warning against overreliance that can undermine intellectual and spiritual maturity. Ultimately, the book encourages readers to approach AI with humility, curiosity, and wise discernment as they pursue the high calling of theological study and ministry preparation.
