Applied Computational Behavioral Science is designed to familiarize the learner with the fundamentals of human behavior quantification, modeling, and prediction. Applications ranging from preventive medicine to shopping behavior and sport performance will be discussed in the context of concrete examples. The material is focused on three area of application: (a) current and potential applications of quantified human behaviors; (b) real-world applications of state-sensors and human behavior computational methodologies and (c) extract insights and make future predictions pertinent to human behavior using behavioral relevant data.
Chapter 1: Dynamic systems. Emerging behaviors. Behavior quantification
Chapter 2: Movement as a behavior
Chapter 3: Autonomic nervous system. Emotions, stress, sleep, and entertainment
Chapter 4: Social behaviors. Communication. Trends. Quantification and prediction
Chapter 5: Predictive models of behavior. Behavior change. Health and wellness
Chapter 6: Perception, cognitive bias and decision making.
Chapter 7: Digital and physical experiences. User experience (UX), User interface (UI).
Chapter 8: Behavioral data: collection, analysis, dissemination
