Many of us that teach business related courses have experienced the power of the case study in making our lessons come alive. However, traditional case studies do not allow students to see if their decisions produced optimal results.

Applying Business Concepts: A Gamification Approach combines the power of case studies with the experiential aspect of simulations. These cross-functional business “games” allow students to experiment with various strategies and decisions to come up with optimal outcomes. Students will launch a health club, seek funding from angle investors, expand an energy drink into new markets, launch a new niche car, market an energy bar, and purchase and operate a minor league baseball team!

Combined Rachel and Craig have decades of experience creating and deploying business simulations as a teaching and learning tool in classrooms, board rooms, and factories throughout the world. Their games take a cross functional approach linking financial metrics with marketing goals, HR practices, and management strategies.
