Jodie H. Schenck A Texas artist with a BFA from Stephen F. Austin University, trained in studio art and art history as well as a Masters of Education from Texas Women’s University, Jodie is a passionate artist. Serving for over 27 years in the classroom Jodie continues to develop teaching methods that serve college students as well as junior high students. With a variety of teaching experience including, developing an art curriculum for a small private school, working with reluctant students seeking a GED including incarcerated students seeking an education and developing the minds of young junior high students who pass through the door of her classroom. In addition to teaching junior high students Jodie has taught developmental classes for a junior college and teaches future teachers at Texas A & M University Commerce. Jodie is hard at work writing a new book, Teaching Icons I Have Known. She resides in Texas with her husband Dave.
Dr. Daryl R. Worley A native Texan with a New Mexican influence. Born close to Amarillo, but raised in Clovis, New Mexico, Daryl was exposed to a variety of Artistic experiences in the classroom and the community. He holds a BSE from Howard Payne University where he majored in Education, Studio Art and Theatre with a minor in music. After teaching high school theatre for nearly 10 years, he entered the world of professional theatre as a director and producer of plays and musicals. Daryl graduate from Baylor University in 2006 with his Master of Arts degree in directing and began teaching at the college level and writing and directing plays. Daryl holds an educational doctorate in curriculum and instruction from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Daryl teaches for Navarro College and Texas A & M University- Commerce as well as several other institutions as a guest professor. His published works include Theatre Through the Ages: An Introduction to Theatre as well as a cookbook and upcoming memoir and numerous professional journals. Daryl resides in Texas with his wife Christa and son Greerson.
