Dr. Colby is a visual artist, community activist, curator, and scholar, named 2007 Champion of the Arts – Educator for Monterey County.
My experience with Visual Art, Music, Dance, and Drama in the School and Community was enjoyable! I learned about many approaches and components of art and how they affect our community. The diversity of materials we can manufacture and explain them with our lesson activity have taught me a lot. I had no idea how much fun watercolor could be or how tough it was to keep the print in one place without the color liquid leaking into another. My observations of students have been that they each gave and discussed their style of dance and theater and how they may link in the same order.
