Threet
Professor Threet has been teaching at community colleges in Santa Clara County (Evergreen Valley College, Foothill College, and West Valley College) since 2002. He has taught at Evergreen Valley College in three disciplines: Business Administration, Communication Studies, and Philosophy and Religion. He teaches mainly in Communication Studies at Foothill College in Los Altos Hills, California and has done so since 2012.
Professor Threet earned his MBA (Finance and Management) at Santa Clara University, a Jesuit institution, MA (Rhetoric and Team Communication) at UCLA (University of California at Los Angeles), and his MAR (Philosophy, Religion & Pastoral Counseling) and MA (Psychology of Communication) at Pepperdine University.
Further, he is a Licensed Marriage & Family Counselor (#3142, Board of Behavioral Sciences, State of California) with a specialty in gender communication. He is also a Clinical Fellow with the AAMFT (American Association for Marriage and Family Therapists). Moreover, Professor Threet has served as the Director for a Community Based Organization focused on the mental health needs of immigrants and war refugees. He has provided counseling services to Asian, Hispanic, and African American couples and families.
He has been a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (Ret.) for many years. Professor Threet is an accredited investor having worked as a senior manager in financial management for the high-tech industry in Silicon Valley.
