Whitney Hable

Dr. Whitney Hable is Professor Emerita of Biology. She earned a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Arizona and a B.A. in Biology from the University of Virginia. Her teaching has included cell biology, developmental biology, and graduate biology courses. Her research focuses on cell polarization, growth and development, and the role of environmental factors in biological processes, including studies of marine brown algae and fertilization in the American eel.
