Abstract
In 2014, the College of Ohio’s women’s rugby team was forced to forfeit their spring season due to the inability to field a team large enough to compete in games. Goals for the season were discussed by the players and then emailed to the head coach; causing a major misinterpretation that resulted in the coach stepping down and effectively dissolving the relationship between the players and the head coach. The following week, the players found out that their now former head coach had accepted a coaching position for the men’s rugby team, further embroiling the conflict.
