MicroStation V8i- MicroStation CONNECT Edition- AutoCAD 2023
The new 3rd edition of CAD Companion Workbook for 2D and 3D CAD and Intro to Civil Engineering for MicroStation® and AutoCAD® covers three of the most popular CAD software products in use today: MicroStation V8i (up thru SS4), MicroStation CONNECT Edition (up thru Update 17) and AutoCAD (up thru AutoCAD 2023)
Providing richly illustrated side-by-side tutorials and step-by-step lessons with MicroStation V8i and MicroStation CONNECT Edition, Michael Jue brings over three decades of real-world CAD usage and teaching experience to the new or experienced CAD user. His practical experience with AutoCAD is also relayed in handy cross-reference charts of the most useful functions usually missing from typical single-CAD-product texts. Both MicroStation and AutoCAD are used throughout the 50 State 's DOTs as the defacto standard CAD products required for use on all of their transportation infrastructure projects.
Lessons for beginners to experienced and advanced CAD users!

Michael D. Jue, P.E. has been an active CAD user and CAD educator since some of the very earliest days of CAD implementation in the mid '80s. Since that time, he has shared his CAD expertise to over 4000 students in over 150 classes at the university level covering disciplines including Architecture, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Structural Engineering. He has taught more than a generation of CAD users in actual industry practice with instruction tailored to their specific needs. He is still actively teaching college CAD classes and uses CAD on a nearly daily basis. He continues his support of multi-discipline engineering projects for a major semiconductor manufacturer, where his specialty is high -tech cleanroom and laboratory design and energy management.
