The Casebook addresses concerns from professors and students alike by providing multiple case studies for use in the classroom and as writing assignments to keep students engaged and interested. It is specifically designed for use as a supplement to any textbook for undergraduate business law at the collegiate level. Its purpose is to facilitate discussion. Not only have students responded favorably to this approach, but assessments have shown that retention level is higher in classes that avoid traditional lecture-style delivery and instead emphasize student participation and integration with the material being taught.

Thomas Wilson

Thomas L. Wilson brings a unique perspective to the subjects covered.  For over 30 years, he was a practicing trial attorney specializing in civil litigation. His practice was committed to representing the business community in general business disputes, securities fraud, product liability, construction law, medical malpractice defense, and railroad law. Although all of the cases are technically fiction, most of them are based on actual cases he litigated or which he personally dealt with during his nine years of experience as managing partner of the law fi rm he co-founded.
