In the twenty-first century-a time marked by global feminist movements, 2sLGBTQIA+ advocacy, and urgent demands for social justice- Contours of Change: a Workbook for Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies as well as gendered-interdisciplinary courses, offers students a vital, hands-on guide for critical engagement and reflection. It emphasizes transformation, a deep dive into rhetorical elements, and the evolving nature of gender and sexuality while grounding it in power dynamics and identity exploration. This lively workbook bridges theory and lived experience, empowering readers to interrogate systems of power, culture, and resistance through interactive exercises, real-world applications, and analytical digital reflections. Designed for college-level courses, this workbook centers the voices and experiences of historically marginalized communities, while guiding students through foundational concepts such as intersectionality, gender performativity, and reproductive justice. Each section invites learners to examine how gender, sexuality, race, class, and ability shape the world around them-and their role within it.

More than just a supplement to academic texts, Contours of Change is a call to action. It encourages critical thinking, self-reflection, and community accountability, making it an essential tool for understanding and transforming the complexities of identity and inequality in our rapidly evolving world.

Whether used in the classroom or for independent study, this workbook prepares the next generation of scholars, activists, and engaged citizens to confront injustice and imagine new possibilities-with their voices, bodies, and power!
