Crime Control Policies is an interactive program that teaches key components of crime analysis and problem solving in a 16-module series. Each 30-minute module contains a video, an application exercise, and an assessment.  The videos were created using advanced animation to enhance student engagement. The non-graded application exercises are a mix of games, quizzes, and deep thinking activities to prepare the students for the graded assessments. The five-question assessments are auto-graded and transfer automatically to the grade book.

This interactive program adds variety and fun to the ordinary coursework with very little effort for professors. Settings, such as scores and time restrictions, can be adjusted to fit any grading format. The modules are easily integrated into course curriculum for online and face-to-face classes with very little up-front preparation. The grades are easily transferable to other formats, such as excel and Blackboard. The students simply go online to purchase the program, which includes web support for all their questions and needs. Professors who piloted this program gave all positive feedback and continued to adopt it in subsequent semesters.
