Joseph B
LeJeune
Joseph B. LeJeune earned the B.A. degree from The University of Louisiana and the M.A. degree from The University of Memphis, both in SpeechLanguage Pathology. He completed his Clinical Fellowship in Speech-Language Pathology at the Joplin Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Missouri. He holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Mr. LeJeune has provided clinical services across a diverse assortment of rehabilitation environments in Missouri and Pennsylvania, with a focus on service delivery to older adults and their families. He has also been a clinical administrator responsible for coordination of multiple aspects of clinical services across clinical facilities. His responsibilities have included mentorship for clinical students and fellows. At the present time, he is Director of Rehabilitation for Spruce Manor Rehabilitation Center in southeastern Pennsylvania.
Cheryl
Gunter
Cheryl D. Gunter earned the B.A. degree from The University of Tennessee and the M.A. degree from The University of Memphis, both in SpeechLanguage Pathology. She completed her Clinical Fellowship in Speech-Language Pathology at The University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis, Tennessee. She then earned the Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The University of Texas. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in SpeechLanguage Pathology from the American SpeechLanguage-Hearing Association. Dr. Gunter held an appointment as Assistant Professor and Clinic Coordinator, then an appointment as Associate Professor (with tenure) and Clinic Coordinator at Iowa State University-Ames. In addition, she was named a Fulbright Scholar and, with support from the Council for the International Exchange of Scholars, held an appointment in the Institute of Health Care at The University of Malta. Dr. Gunter has pursued her scholarly interest in clinical practice, clinical education, and clinical instruction issues. She has also maintained an active consultation practice and has been a leader in state and national level professional associations as an officer and a publication editor. She is presently Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at West Chester University in southeastern Pennsylvania.
