Dr. Priscilla Jeter-Iles is currently an assistant professor, the director of Field Experiences and Outreach, and co-director of Social Action and Justice Education Fellowship Program (SAJE) at Arcadia University. Dr. Jeter-Iles served as an adjunct professor at Arcadia University for over 19 years while teaching in the Philadelphia School District. The last three years of her public school tenure, she was the School Based Teacher Leader.
Dr. Jeter-Iles received her BA and secondary certification in social science in 1986. She received her MEd from Arcadia University, formerly Beaver College, in 1999. In 2009, Dr. Priscilla Jeter-Iles received her doctorate in education from Arcadia University with a focus in special education. In addition to her degrees, she holds certifications in Early Childhood Education, Secondary Education and Leadership.
She has over 35 years of experience in the combined fields of social work, education, and behavioral health. Currently, she is a trainer for YMHFA and consults for a wide range of educational projects from Early Childhood to Higher Education. Dr. Jeter-Iles enjoys working with novice teachers. She works annually with pre-service educators who are preparing for the educator certification exams across organizations and states. She is a contributor to the original Pennsylvania Culturally Relevant and Sustaining Education Competencies developed in 2021. In 2020, she became the co-director of Social Action and Justice Education Fellowship at Arcadia University.
Dr. Geraldine Fitzpatrick-Doria brings more than 35 years of instructional and leadership experience to the work of educating students and supporting communities. She has passionately worked for The Dallas Independent School District, Saint Peter In-dependent School, The School District of Philadelphia, The Lower Merion School District and the School District of Cheltenham Township. During her career, Dr. Doria has served in a variety of educational and administrative capacities, including elementary and middle school teacher, academic coach, elementary school administrator, staff development specialist, and director of instruction. She is also a Learning Forward Academy Graduate. As a Staff Development Specialist, she collaborated with a team of six specialists to support over 250 Philadelphia schools.
As an educational leader, Dr. Doria’s primary responsibilities included: curriculum coordination and implementation, program development in support of student learning, and adult learning opportunities strategically aligned to instructional practices and student achievement.
Currently Dr. Doria is an Associate Professor at Holy Family University teaching undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students. She is passionate in her work supporting Holy Family University’s Aspiring Educator and their passion projects. Dr. Doria’s research focuses on Self-Care Strategies for Educators, Cultural Competency and Student Engagement.
Dr. Doria received her Bachelor of Science in education from Holy Family University. She holds three post-graduate degrees, including a master’s degree in education & reading from East Texas State University, a master’s degree in educational administration from Gwynedd Mercy University, a Doctor of Education in educational leadership & administration from Capella University, and a Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility from Saint Joseph’s University, along with several other certifications. Dr. Doria is a lifelong learner, and she is committed to the work of supporting the students, families, and communities she serves.
