Annabelle is missing. Francis -- big, stubborn and too curious for his own good -- decides to search for her. Francis is always getting himself into trouble. A Dreamwalker, he uncovers a portal in Crazy Space and enters the multiverse... and is dognapped. Heidi, his sister, faces a dilemma: should she stay safe and well cared for at home or risk unknown dangers searching for them both?
Francis and Heidi are two black and white huskies. As all huskies, and only huskies, Francis and Heidi possess that wonderful gift called dreamwalking which arises from dog-sense.
Dog-sense shines in their eyes; it is there in their stubborn, not fully domesticated personalities -- in that special husky appearance that brings to mind the great wolves of the deep forest, Through the cultivation and practice of dog-sense -- as taught by the Silver Abbott Master Ash -- huskies are able to "dreamwalk."
So Heidi follows her brother into the fantastic, whimsical, and sometime terrifying worlds of the Multiverse. Francis and Heidi find themselves caught in a vast and brutal struggle to conquer these inconceivably many worlds. In the wrong hands (paws) dreamwalking could become the means to domination of all creatures. Heidi and Francis must find a way to preserve the freedom of all living beings.
