The Earth Science II for Non-Science Majors laboratory manual is based on past years of experiences in teaching and involvement from my students at El Paso Community College. My vision for this project was to create an Earth Science lab manual that will be affordable and beneficial for the second semester Earth Science students. The lab manual is not meant to replace a textbook but to enhance any required textbook for the course.
The manual covers a variety of topics ranging from a general review of Earth Science I to Earth as a System, streams, groundwater, mass wasting, mineral resources and energy, and climate. Keep in mind the manual has been directed at students who are not science majors. My hope is they may change their minds and become a Geosciences major.

Tina has been teaching for over 17 years. She, along with others, developed, implemented, and ran a very successful summer camp program for high school students as well as a research opportunity for undergraduates (REU) program during the regular academic year. She enjoyed working in controlled source seismology. She presented a poster on EPCC's efforts to broaden participation at the 2017 Earth Educator's Rendezvous.
