Through poetic insights and a lens shaped by his art, Catling explores humanity’s search for wholeness and spiritual transcendence. A mentor to countless artists, his reflections challenge and offer a guide to navigating life with creativity, faith, and wonder.
With an art and educational career spanning over 40 years, his professional practices began in the San Francisco Bay Area until he relocated to the Los Angeles area in 1991, where he continues to reside. He is an active conference speaker and deeply involved in the integration of the arts into the larger community. A dynamic sculptor, Catling’s work has been exhibited in museums and galleries both nationally and internationally. His works can be viewed at williamcatling.com
