Essentials of Modern Composition

Christina M. Kennedy earned an Associate of Arts in Theatre Arts from Mt. San Jacinto College; a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Writing Studies (cum laude) with a French minor from California State University, San Marcos; and a Master of Arts in English from California State University, Fullerton. Ms. Kennedy has been an English professor for a variety of California community colleges since 2015, and although literary analysis was her point of interest in college, she specializes in teaching remedial and freshman-level composition courses. In addition to theatre, literature, composition, and andragogy, Ms. Kennedy enjoys traveling, psychology, intellectual conversation, concerts, enology, Disney, the Harry Potter series, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Star Wars saga, and anything related to Frankenstein. Ms. Kennedy lives in suburbia with her husband, Ryan, and three cats: Sabbath, Bowie, and Geddy. Essentials of Modern Composition is her first major publication in academia.
