Dr. Rufaro Mandizvidza is a business and leadership practitioner and instructor. Dr. Rufaro has exhibited a solid commitment to continuous learning in formal education and professionally throughout her career. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Economics from George Mason University, a Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University-Shreveport, and a Doctor of Strategic Leadership from Regent University with an Entrepreneurial Leadership focus on ethical artificial intelligence (AI). Dr. Rufaro has been privileged to present at the Regent University, School of Business and Leadership, 2023 Annual Research Roundtables – debuting the AI and Machine Learning Track.
Dr. Mandizvidza has leveraged more than 12 years of strategic IT project management experience as a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) in various roles such as an IT Business Analyst, Federal Acquisition Professional, and Management Consultant. She has an extensive background in planning and managing cross-functional business operations and technology projects. She is an analytical and conceptual thinker who effectively partners with senior leaders to assess opportunities, facilitate strategic decisions, and drive successful implementations. Much of her industry experience spans small businesses and large organizations such as CGI Federal, with an additional seven years of experience with federal agencies. Dr. Mandizvidza continues to impact federal agencies today including Department of Defense stakeholders.
Dr. Rufaro leads Vendhere Inc. as an educational hub and part of doctoral research for academia, government leaders, and strategic industry experts in the D.C. metro area. She is an advocate for open education and enjoys teaching entrepreneurs, consulting leaders on ethical AI use cases and strategic leadership.
