Dr. Daryl R. Worley A native Texan with a New Mexican influence. Born close to Amarillo, but raised in Clovis, New Mexico, Daryl was exposed to a variety of Artistic experiences in the classroom and the community. He holds a BSE from Howard Payne University where he majored in Education, Studio Art and Theatre with a minor in music. After teaching high school theatre for nearly 10 years, he entered the world of professional theatre as a director and producer of plays and musicals. Daryl graduate from Baylor University in 2006 with his Master of Arts degree in directing and began teaching at the college level and writing and directing plays. Daryl holds an educational doctorate in curriculum and instruction from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Daryl teaches for Navarro College and Texas A & M University- Commerce as well as several other institutions as a guest professor. His published works include Theatre Through the Ages: An Introduction to Theatre as well as a cookbook and upcoming memoir and numerous professional journals. Daryl resides in Texas with his wife Christa and son Greerson.
