Ferreira
Dr. Dan Ferreira is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Science at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, GA. He received his B.S. degree in Environmental and Resource Sciences from the University of California at Davis. He received his M.S. in Geological Sciences and his Ph.D. in Soil Science from the University of Connecticut. Dr. Ferreira has worked as an environmental laboratory technician, a field geologist, an environmental consultant, and an environmental risk specialist.
Dr. Ferreira is a passionate and enthusiastic scientist and science educator who believes in offering his students a practical learning experience that is easily applicable to their real lives.
When he’s not teaching, Dr. Ferreira enjoys camping, reading, laying in his hammock, and taking his daughter to the zoo.
