Exploration of Physiology Laboratory

The Exploration of Physiology online laboratory course encourages students to understand and relate material from the course textbook. It provides hands-on experimentation and collaborative work with classmates. Included laboratory practical exams assess student knowledge of anatomical structures and how they function.

This online laboratory course delivers the same anatomy and physiology content in a traditional lab book, but with a clinical and case-based approach.

Each lab activity is classified by topic. Within each topic, the text presents a unique scenario students will find investigations, histological analysis, and problem-solving in each labs. Also, a clinical connection integrates other popular issues to the lab topic at hand.

Each lab emphasizes both anatomy and physiology. At the end of each lab, a cross body connection piece and a laboratory review worksheet allows students the opportunity to build a big picture of how the individual body systems work together and practice/assess their knowledge of the lab content and anatomical structures.
