What is the place of this universe in God’s redemptive plan? What is the significance of the Earth, for our origin, existence, and destination? Does God care for creation? Will he protect and redeem it? If he does, what is the role of the church and individual Christians? For a long time, these essential questions have not been addressed theologically and missiologically.
With an in-depth biblical reflection, addressing the challenges of world politics, the global market, climate change, and the devastating impacts, The Groaning of Creation and God’s Renewal, by Professor Mekonnen, provides us an insight into how to be God’s faithful stewards of his Creation.
