This text provides a regional study of human gross anatomy with an emphasis on clinically relevant structures and their application to physician assistant practice. Beginning with anatomical terminology and foundational concepts, students examine the anatomy of the upper and lower extremities, back, skull and brain, cranial nerves, head and neck, thorax, abdomen, and pelvis. Throughout the course, emphasis is placed on the relationships between anatomical structures, normal function, and clinical assessment to prepare students for patient evaluation, diagnosis, and procedural practice.
