Dr. Lopez Vera holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Hispanic Languages with an emphasis on Applied Linguistics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Master of Public Health from Claremont Graduate University, where she is also pursuing a Doctor of Public Health. Her work focuses on improving healthcare outcomes for underserved populations through health advocacy, with an emphasis on linguistic and racial concordance.
