Healing is a powerful invitation for physicians and healthcare professionals to rediscover the purpose and joy that first drew them to medicine. It offers a rare combination of honesty, empathy, and practicality, meeting readers where they are, often weary from the relentless pace and pressures of modern healthcare. Through candid stories, reflective questions, and practical tools, it shines a light on the hidden toll of burnout while offering a genuine path toward balance, clarity, and renewal. At its core, the book reveals how the unique ways physicians are trained to think, so essential in diagnosing and caring for patients, can also quietly fuel exhaustion, isolation, and self-doubt. By uncovering these unseen patterns and reshaping them, Healing empowers readers to not only care for others but also to care for themselves with the same compassion. This is not a book about survival. It’s about rewriting the narrative of what it means to be a physician or healthcare leader today, reclaiming your thinking, your passion, and your life so you can thrive both inside and outside of medicine.
