Langford
Barry R. Langford has taught Hospitality Law at the University of Missouri since 1993. He has received multiple awards for teaching and service, including the Columbia College Trustee’s Award for Teaching Excellence in 2011, and the Congressman Neal Smith Award for Outstanding and Exemplary Contributions to Law Related Education in 2013. Professor Langford serves as Chair of the Department of Criminal Justice and Human Services at Columbia College, and has also worked as an attorney in the public and private sector, including 2 ½ years as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney. In addition to his teaching and administrative responsibilities, Professor Langford serves on the Board of Directors of the American Mock Trial Association and also directs the Columbia College Mock Trial Program.
