Dr. Joe Dolence is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biology at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He teaches biology and serves as a graduate faculty member and advisor for students pursuing biology education endorsements. His research focuses on immunology and allergic disease, particularly the immune mechanisms involved in peanut allergies. He earned his B.A. from the College of Saint Scholastica and his Ph.D. from the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, where his dissertation examined regulation of early B cell development.
