The main purpose of this book is to provide the readers with the knowledge and tools necessary to excel in their workplaces, whether they are in the manufacturing or in the service industry.

Chapter 1 introduces productivity and the need for any business to keep its productivity going upward like a flight that has taken off the ground. As someone has rightly said, any work that is done under the Sun is impacted by productivity. Thus, Chapter 1 lays the foundation needed for success and inspires businesses to prosper! The subsequent chapters give a company the basic tools and techniques in different subject areas
needed for their growth and continuous improvement.

It is not intended to get into the advanced tools and techniques in the subject areas covered in the book. If a company needs to use advanced methods in any specific subject, there is considerable material available to
take it further.

I will be glad if the readers provide their valuable feedback to help future users of this book. I will be greatly indebted to them.
