Interfaith Divisions at Southern State University

Abstract

The intersection of faith and sport, specifically college soccer and evangelical Christianity, presents a series of questions for coaches, players, and spectators. When leaders (including coaches, captains, and the team chaplain) at Southern State University explicitly connect the two forces, faith-related dilemmas rise to the surface.
