Introduction to Archeology Workbook is an activity book intended to help college students see, from the world around them, how to observe from simple things, greater archaeological methodologies. Because going on digs or visiting sites is difficult or cost-prohibitive, this book applies some aspects of archaeological practice and theory on their campus. By looking at your dorm/apartment, the campus layout, the foods in the dining hall, and the abundance of symbols that make up the world, students will hopefully be able to take class discussions on these topics into the “real world.” This is not intended to be exhaustive in its approach, but to give a general idea of how archaeologists do their jobs and create interest in taking more courses or learning more about the world through an archaeological/anthropological lens.
