A high-quality text for a reasonable price is what you get with the First Edition of Introduction to Business Law and Ethics by Badr and Smith. Students will gain an in-depth understanding of the legal environment of business and ethics, and they will find the practice examples and current application to business activities immediately useful for their educational, business, and personal purposes. Your students will also appreciate the fair price for this powerful learning tool, as traditionally, many other textbooks are significantly more expensive. The book can be used in any introductory business law course.
After leveraging this textbook as a tool in your class, students will leave your course feeling more prepared for their work and informed about how the law might impact that work. Your students will learn about how current events have impacted the law and regulatory environment. For example, the Covid-19 pandemic has dramatically effected both bankruptcy and labor law procedures. The law is inherently interdisciplinary, so this book intentionally embraces that intersection by bridging different business disciplines, including accounting, human resources, finance, and marketing, to the legal environment of business.
The authors are developing supplemental materials, including a test and quiz bank.
