Jon
Hager
Dr. Jon Hager is an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at the University of North Georgia. While teaching forensic science since 2004, Dr. Hager worked for 16 years as a medico-legal death investigator for the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Hager also has experience in fire investigations and as an autopsy technician. He has a bachelor’s degree in anthropology, a master’s degree in forensic science, and doctorate in psychology with a focus on criminal justice. Dr. Hager is a member of the Criminal Justice Association of Georgia and the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences. Dr. Hager resides in North Georgia with his wife, and dogs.
