Kimberly Karlberg has worked in many areas of the Criminal Justice field, including local and federal-level Law Enforcement and a White-Collar Crime prevention project for a Fortune 500 company. She is a Professor and Coordinator of Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Programs and Studies at Joliet Junior College. She has been teaching college for 12 years at Colorado Technical University Online, Kaplan University, Westwood College (Woodridge, Schiller Park, Calumet City, IL), Joliet Junior College Social and Behavioral Sciences Department, and now Program Coordinator of Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement Programs and Studies at Joliet Junior College. Publications include: 25 Biggest Mistakes Law Enforcement Officers Make and How to Avoid Them (2007), 25 Contemporary Issues in Law Enforcement (2011), An Introduction to Law Enforcement for the Community College Student (2012). She's a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago, Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice Administration.
