An Introduction to World Mythology is a comprehensive survey of myths from around the world that provides a solid foundation for literary study.
Each chapter features myths of creation, destruction, tricksters, lovers, heroic tales, and other stories that reveal the beliefs and worldviews of ancient and contemporary cultures.
This text includes many lesser-known stories not typically found in other mythology textbooks, as well as many of the classics. In addition, discussion questions invite conversation and promote deeper understanding of the material.
