Read the procedure ahead of time. If you have a picture in mind of what you will be doing, it will speed things up and help you avoid pitfalls along the way.

For all labs, the answers to pre-lab and post-lab calculated problems are given; use them as immediate feedback to check your work. (Hint: instructors grade the work not the answer.)
