Beyond her academic role, she also serves as the CEO of Sugar Hill Research Group, where she lends her expertise to businesses seeking solutions for a wide range of challenges, with a focus on enhancing their operations and achieving their objectives. Furthermore, she has authored the book titled "Key Tools of Writing and Research: A Guide for the Student Writer” and co-authored an article called “A Study of Emotional Intelligence and Self-Leadership”.

Before her academic career, Dr. Baker accumulated 15 years of experience working with distinguished companies such as Ford Motor Company and Volvo Car Corporation in the United States, China, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
