An inspirational story of a high school basketball phenom who set records thought to be impossible to break.

At the peak of her career and her life, a nine-month pregnant Jessie Darcey is mysteriously gunned down in a parking lot.

As narrated by Jessie's best friend Abby Girardi, The Legend of Jessie Darcey focuses on the unbreakable bond between two "forever friends" and the unconditional love shown by Jessie to her friends and family. Jessie's inspirational impact on others was immeasurable.

Eighteen years after Jessie's untimely death, her daughter Bobbie (a daughter that Jessie never knew) is faced with a major dilemma, one that threatens to undo the only connection that Bobbie had with the mother she idolized.

This is a story of courage, strength, inspiration, tragedy, amusement, and female empowerment.
